Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period December Dec. 31-Jan 6.
Women’s Basketball
Eastern Oregon’s Kelsea Hurliman has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for Dec.31-Jan 6.
Hurliman, a senior from Cloverdale, Ore. helped lead the Mountaineers to two road wins over Northwest Christian and Corban. For the weekend the guard averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists as EOU remained a perfect 8-0 in CCC action.

Men’s Basketball
Southern Oregon’s Kyle Tedder has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 31-Jan. 6.
Tedder, a junior from Coos Bay, Ore., continued his hot shooting this year, making 9-of-11 shots from beyond the arc and 11-of-14 overall in a pair of close wins. His 17 points helped lead SOU to a narrow comeback non-conference win on Wednesday over William Jessup. In CCC action on Saturday Tedder scored 22 points in a road victory over Oregon Tech. The win was the first for SOU at OIT since the 1998-99 season.
