LACEY, Wash.—Concordia's top two attackers, Septi Danciu (Bristita, Romania/Evergreen H.S.) and Michael Chamberlain (Wailua, Hawaii/Island H.S.), continued their offensive spree with two goals each to lead the Cavaliers to a 4-0 win on the road against Evergreen on Tuesday night.

With the win, Concordia, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA, improved to 7-2-0 on the season and 4-1-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play. Evergreen fell to 4-3-2 overall and 2-2-1 in league contests. Concordia will return to action on Saturday when it travels to undefeated Corban University (7-0-1, 4-0-1 CCC). Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. in Salem, Ore.
Evergreen, meanwhile, will travel to College of Idaho on Oct. 5 for a 1 p.m. matchup against the Coyotes.

Outscoring its last three opponents 18-2, Concordia wasted little time getting on the board in the match played at South Sound Stadium as Danciu shook the net in the 3rd minute of play on a free kick from 30 yards out.

Chamberlain, who entered eth match tied with Danciu with seven goals on the season, delivered in the 14th minute with a header on a pass from teammate Radcliffe McDougald (Mercer Island, Wash./Mercer Island H.S.).

Despite only outshooting the Geoducks 7 to 4 in the first half, The Cavaliers would go up 3-0 minutes before the break as Danciu collected a Ben Culpan (Auckland, New Zealand/Napier Boys H.S.) pass from eight yards out and beat Evergreen goalkeeper Maurico Sanchez once again.

Both teams would attempt four shots each over the final 45 minutes with Chamberlain providing the only second-half score at the 65:37 mark, this time using a ship shot over the keeper's head with an assist going to Danciu on the play.

Evergreen, who entered the game posting back-to-back shutouts, finished the match with a 5 to 4 advantage and were outfouled 21 to 18 with eight total yellow cards assessed in the contest.

Brady Espinoza attempted three of Evergreen's eight attempts with two registered as on goal. Willie Spurr, the Geoduck leading scorer, also took two shots in eth game, both of which were directed at goal.

Concordia's Scott Gross (Gladstone, Ore./Gladstone H.S.) picked up the win after stopping four shots in just under 84 minutes of action. Freshman Mitch McCaw (Calgary, Alberta/Central Memorial H.S.) played out the final minutes in net to complete the shutout, the team's sixth of the season. Sanchez collected three saves in 90 minutes of duty.
