Northwest Christian Men Lead WPC Invite
PORTLAND, Ore. - Northwest Christian sits atop the leaderboard after two rounds of play at the Warner Pacific Invitational being held at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
The Beacons hit the clubhouse with a total score of 604 (304-300), one stroke better than second place Concordia University.
NCU's Tyler Falk is leading the field after shooting under par in both rounds. His 4-under 142 in one stroke ahead of Warner Pacific's A.J. Nelson at 3-under 143.
Jared Lambert from Corban University was the third player under par for the day at 1-under 145 after the 36 holes of play.
Concordia improved their team score by nine strokes from round one to round two, allowing a jump to second place in the team standings. Jesse Heinly leads the Cavaliers in 4th place overall at even-par 146.
Following CU is Willamette University (297-312=609), Walla Walla Community College (305-308=613), host Warner Pacific (303-314=617), Corban (312-308=620), Oregon Tech (317-317=634), and College of Idaho (325-319=644).
The tournament will conclude tomorrow morning with a final round of 18 holes.
