KIRKLAND, Wash. – #3 seed Concordia advances to the CCC Championships final with a 4-0 shutout victory over Northwest University, the #2 seed this afternoon in a semifinal game. Concordia improves to 15-4 for the year while Northwest finishes their season at 13-6.

Concordia didn’t waste any time getting on the scoreboard as Septi Danciu scored off a through ball with just 44 seconds into the game. Tanner French had the assist on the goal. With the goal mouth torn up by two games on Saturday, NU goalkeeper, Joe Galbraith lost his footing going for the save. The teams would settle in for the next 40 minutes and then it would be Sam Carmichael scoring with a nice touch left footer from 9 yards out to increase the Cavalier lead to 2-0.

The score would remain the same into the second half when Kevin Fischer scored in the 73rd minute off Ben Culpan’s cross from the left side as Fischer finished with a right footer in the right corner of the net. Fischer scored his second goal at the 80:46 mark as his first shot would come off NU keeper Joe Galbraith, bound high over Galbraith's head and Fischer would put his second shot in from 3 yards center.

Concordia pressed hard dominating in the shot column 33 to 13. Joe Galbraith had 11 saves in goal for Northwest while Scott Gross stopped 6 Eagle shots in goal for the Cavaliers. Sam Carmichael and Septi Danciu each had 8 shots for Concordia.
