VALLEJO, Calif. – The third meeting between the 17th-ranked Southern Oregon women's basketball team and Cal Maritime wasn't much different than the first two as the Raiders completed a season sweep with an 84-68 nonleague win Saturday.

Carly Meister returned to her double-double form with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead four players in double figures as SOU (12-1 overall) ran its win streak to eight games.

Kristen Schoenherr tallied 16 points and seven rebounds, Autumn Durand had 15 and six, and Allison Gida added 11 and eight as the Raiders built a 38-26 halftime lead and never let go. SOU had a 46-27 rebounding advantage, collecting 15 on the offensive end.

Shante Sands had 17 points and six boards to lead Cal Maritime, which dipped to 6-6 on the season. The Keelhaulers lost their three games against the Raiders by an average of 19 points.

SOU's Ashley Claussen recorded a game-high five assists. Gida had three steals, and Schoenherr, who has been in double figures in all but one game, made both of her 3-point attempts.

Meister's double-double was her fifth of the season and first since she hit up Maritime for one on Nov. 23.

The Raiders will now hit the road looking to build on a 2-0 Cascade Conference record with games at Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho next Friday and Saturday.
