LA GRANDE, Ore. – With fall championships completed Concordia University has a slight lead in the Cascade Collegiate Conference All-Sports Trophy race.
Top three finishes in 3 of 5 fall championships, including the title in women’s soccer leaves CU with 65 points thus far. Hot on their heels is The College of Idaho with 64 points. The Yotes claimed championships in volleyball and women’s cross country and finished fourth overall in men’s cross country.
Southern Oregon University, Corban University and Eastern Oregon University round out the top 5 with 60 and 56 and 50 points respectively. SOU earned first place points in men’s cross country while the Warriors of Corban claimed the top spot in men’s soccer. The Raiders and Mountaineers land in the top five despite earning points in only 4 of 5 categories as neither school sponsors men’s soccer.
The next release of standings will be after the completion of men’s and women’s basketball.
