Corban (6-6) evened its season record for the second time this season, as Toby Roth led the Warriors in scoring with a game, season, and career-high 17 points to go along with a game-high seven assists. Jordan Carter missed the first triple-double of his career by a mere four assists for Corban, as the third-year Warrior tallied 15 points, a game and career-high 16 rebounds, and six assists. Three other Warrior starters – Caleb Herzberg, Cyrus Ward, and Tyler Edwards – also scored in double figures with 16, 16, and 10 points, respectively, while Ernst Kruger added eight points off Corban's bench.

New Hope Christian (3-15) was led offensively by TJ Little and Ryan Webb with 13 points each, while Cody Dismukes and Corey Gantt added 11 points each for the Deacons. Dismukes also pulled down a team-high eight rebounds for NHCC, while Little, Webb, and Nicholas Dillingham handed out a team-best three assists each.

After New Hope Christian scored the opening two points of the game, Corban quickly grabbed an 8-2 lead after eight unanswered points over a three-minute span to take control of the contest. The visiting Warriors would build a seven-point lead (11-4) on a three-pointer by Herzberg with 14:22 on the clock before pushing their lead to double digits (19-9) on another Herzberg three-pointer two minutes later. Corban would extend its lead to 22 points (36-14) at the 6:12 mark on back-to-back free throws by Edwards before the Warriors settled for a 15-point cushion (46-31) at halftime after a buzzer-beating lay-in by Ward.

The second half began with New Hope Christian cutting Corban's lead to nine points (50-41) following an opening 10-4 run over the first three minutes. The visiting Warriors wasted no time in extending their lead back to double digits (59-41) with a 9-0 run that concluded on a lay-in by Herzberg with 14:49 on the clock. Corban would never relinquish its double-digit lead for the remainder of the game, as the Warriors slowly extended their lead to a game-high 23 points (87-64) at the conclusion of the victory for the visiting team.

As a team, Corban combined to shoot 28-for-57 (49.1%) from the field that included a 50.0% (15-for-30) performance in the first half. The Warriors also turned in a 7-for-19 (36.8%) showing from beyond the three-point line, while also hitting 24-of-31 (77.4%) shots at the free throw line.
