MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 355 men’s soccer student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Goshen (Ind.) leads all institutions with seven individuals on the list.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference had sixteen student athletes recognized. Leading the way with four representatives each were the College of Idaho and Northwest Christian followed by Concordia (3), Corban (3), Northwest (1), and Oregon Tech (1).
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
