Eighteen CCC Student Athletes Honored

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 507 women’s soccer student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Concordia (Neb.) leads all institutions with 11 individuals on the list.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference had eighteen student athletes honored. Leading the way with  four representatives each were Eastern Oregon and Northwest Christian followed by College of Idaho (3), Concordia  (2), Corban (2), and Northwest, Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon (1).

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
