LAGRANDE, Ore. -Eastern Oregon University honored conference corporate partner Les Schwab during the EOU- OIT men's basketball playoff game February 20th. Bob Butler and Arne Peasley, representing La Grande Les Schwab Tires were presented a plaque recognizing Les Schwab's involvement with the CCC as a corporate sponsor in front of a packed house. EOU Acting Director of Athletics Anji Weissenfluh and President Dr. Bob Davies were on hand to make the presentation.

Since 2011 Les Schwab has been the title sponsor of the Cascade Conference Champions of Character initiative. The NAIA’s Champions of Character program is designed to instill an understanding of character values in sport and provide practical tools for student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators to use in modeling exemplary character traits.
