Two Veteran Officials Chosen to Work NAIA D II Men's Basketball Tournament
LA GRANDE, Ore.- Two veteran basketball officials have been chosen to work the NAIA D II Championships March 6-12 in Point Lookout, Missouri.
Matt Mason and Bruce Corson will be representing the Western States Officials Association and the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Mason will be officiating his fourth national tournament while it is the first selection for Corson. Mason, a resident of Sammamish, WA., has been officiating for 17 years and worked the 2011 NAIA Championship game with fellow CCC official Doug Sturdivan.

Although this is his first selection to the NAIA tournament, he is no stranger to championship level competition having worked the NCAA D II West Regionals in 2010 and 2012.
Both Mason and Corson were part of the crew that worked the Warner Pacific Southern Oregon CCC Championship game.
Four teams from the Cascade Conference, (WPC, EOU, SOU and NU), have qualified for the tournament with first round games scheduled for next Wed/Thurs. March 6-7.
