Box Score

It marked the most points scored in a league tilt by the Yotes (13-12, 9-6 CCC) since scoring 96 against Cascade on Feb. 3, 2007. The victory helped the Yotes into sole possession of fourth-place in the CCC standings with two weeks left in the regular-season.

The C of I used an 8-0 run early in the second half to build a 64-50 lead and held off a late Warriors (8-15, 4-10) rally to earn the season sweep.

The first half featured four ties and seven lead changes, with the Warriors taking a 35-32 lead on a Cyrus Ward lay-up with 5:24 left in the period. However, the Yotes scored the 10 points - including back-to-back three-pointers from Devan Telken and Zach Peterson, to take a lead they wouldn't relinquish, holding a 48-44 edge at the break.

After Corban scored the opening basket of the second half, the Coyotes scored 16 of the next 20 points - including a three-pointer and lay-up from Miguel Rodriguez, to take the 14-point lead. The Warriors would try to hang around with the three-point shot, making 13-of-23 on the night, but the Yotes won the game at the foul line, making 26-of-37 free throws on the night.

Antonio Garrett had 20 points in the win, with Rodriguez adding 14 points for the Yotes - who made 51-percent of their field goals and 9-of-18 three-pointers, while committing just six turnovers.

Dustin Moore and Jacob Kopra had 17 for Corban, with Marcus Butler and Josiah Siebens each scoring 16.

The Yotes close out the regular-season with three road games, beginning Friday night at top-ranked Eastern Oregon.
