The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of January28- February 3.




Adam Herman
Men’s Basketball
 
Concordia’s Adam Herman has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
 
Herman, a junior from Vancouver, WA., averaged a double-double while helping the Cavs sweep their second straight CCC weekend. Herman scored 22 points and grabbed a dozen boards for his 14th double-double of the season in an upset of #20 Northwest He returned on Saturday with 15 points and eight rebounds against Evergreen .

Carson Hendryx
Men’s Indoor- Field
 
Eastern Oregon’s Carson Hendryx has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
 
Hendryx, a senior from Sacramento, CA., placed 5th out of 15 competitors in the weight throw at the Boise State University Bronco Classic with a mark of 16.01 meters.

Hannah Lentz
Women’s Indoor-Field
 
The College of Idaho’s Hannah Lentz has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
 
Lentz, a freshman from Kimberly, Idaho, competing at the Boise State University Bronco Classic set a school record in the long jump with a leap of 17-0 feet. The mark was good for 5th place in the field of 14 competitors.

Hillary Holt
Women’s Indoor- Track
 
The College of Idaho’s Hillary Holt has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
 
Holt, a junior from Meridian, Recorded the fastest time in the NAIA this season in the 3,000-meters at 9:45:46 at the Boise State University Bronco Classic. The mark earned a first place finish and broke the C of I school record by 10 seconds in the event.
 
Holt defeated 13 Division I runners and eclipsed the NAIA A qualifying  standard by 43 seconds.

Hans Roelle
Men’s Indoor-Track
 
Eastern Oregon’s Hans Roelle has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 28- Feb 3.
 
Roelle, a sophomore from Anchorage, AK., earned a 1st and 3rd place finish in the 1000 and 600 meter races respectively at the Boise State Bronco Classic. Roelle’s  2:29:48 is an auto qualifying time in the 1000 meters and is the 3rd fastest in the NAIA thus far. His 600 meter time of 1:22:58 is the 2nd fastest all time in school history.

Brooke Randall
  Women’s Basketball
 
Eastern Oregon’s Brooke Randall has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
 
Randall, a senior from Wenatchee, WA., scored 44 total points in helping the No. 5 Mountaineers to victory over Corban and Northwest Christian. Randall was 16-29 from the floor including a sizzling 7-11 from three point range for a 63.6 shooting percentage. She also dished out 10 assists for the weekend.
