KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kassi Conditt of Oregon Tech has been named NAIA National Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week the national office announced Wednesday. Conditt was selected based on her performances from March 18 – 24.
Conditt, a junior from La Pine, Ore., established a meet record in the shot put at the NCAA Division I Chico State (Calif.) Wildcat Invitational on March 23. Her toss of 13.63 meters (44-8 ¾) was the best in the history of the invitational and broke the Oregon Tech school record by four inches. That mark also was an “A” standard and earned her first-place status among 17 competitors.
Conditt was also All-Cascade Collegiate Conference First Team in women’s basketball averaging a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
