Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore.-The following CCC and NAIA West student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of February 25-March 3.
Daniel Gober
Baseball- Pitcher
Corban’s Daniel Gober has been chosen the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week for Feb 25-March 3.
Gober, a freshman from Thousand Oaks, CA., picked up his first collegiate win with a 2-1 victory over No. 8-ranked Lewis-Clark State. Gober worked seven strong innings allowing just one earned run, while not walking a single batter.

Jesse Dodd
Baseball- Player
The College of Idaho’s Jesse Dodd has been chosen the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week for Feb 25-March 3.
Dodd, a senior from Eagle Idaho, went 11-for-18 with four doubles, a homer, and seven RBI, helping C of I to a series sweep over Simpson.
The Yotes outscored Simpson 45-15 in the four game series.

Amy Greenough
Softball- Pitcher
Corban’s Amy Greenough has been chosen the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week for Feb 18-24.
Greenough, a senior from Portland Ore., Led the Warriors to victory over NCAA D II Western Oregon while not allowing a run in 5 innings of work.

Stephanie Nippert
Softball- Player
Corban’s Stephanie Nippert has been chosen the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week for Feb 25-March 3.
Nippert, a senior from Rocklin, CA., combined for eight hits that included her team, conference, and NAIA-leading seventh and eighth home runs of the season.
Nippert also scored six runs and drove in seven RBI, while helping lead Corban to a 2-2 weekend record.
