The College of Idaho Holds Lead in CCC All-Sports Award Standings

LA GRANDE, Ore. – With fall and winter championships completed, The College of Idaho has a slight lead in the Cascade Collegiate Conference All-Sports Trophy race.

The Yotes captured championships in volleyball, as well as women’s cross country. A second place finish in women’s basketball and men’s cross country has helped C of I earn 105.5 overall points thus far. Concordia follows closely in second place with 94 points. The Cavaliers own a championship in  men’s soccer and finished second in women's soccer.

Eastern Oregon is in third place with 93 points after a championship in women's basketball and a co-championship in men's basketball. Southern Oregon has 90 points and holds the fourth place slot while Northwest rounds out the top five with 72.5 points.

Points are awarded based on regular season finishes. Points are tallied using each institutions eight highest place finishes.

Spring sports remaining to complete include baseball, softball, men’s and women’s track and field and men’s and women’s golf.
