FINAL RESULTS

PORTLAND, Ore. – For the first time in program history, Corban's women's track & field team captured a team title winning the Pioneer Invitational by a staggering 22 points over host Lewis & Clark Saturday at Griswold Stadium.

Eliya Kohl would capture individual titles in the long and triple jump, while the trio of Chelsea Reifschneider, Cecilee Russell, and Sarah Taylor also brought home indiviudual trophies. The Warriors' 4x400 meter relay team that consisted of Russell, Hannah Whitehead, Rachael Estabrook, and Emily Childers also took home a trophy winning the event by more than five seconds.

In the final team standings, Corban earned a program-record 150.0 points following by Lewis & Clark (128.50), Pacific (118), Linfield (85), Warner Pacific (79), George Fox (53), Portland (49), and Western Oregon (44).

The Warriors' day would begin with Kohl earning a fifth place finish in the 100 meter dash en route to earning four points thanks to a time of 12.97 seconds, while Russell also earned a single point thanks to an eighth place finish in a time of 13.29 seconds.

In the 200 meter dash, Kohl would turn in a runner-up finish en route to earning eight points after posting a time of 26.62 seconds. Whitehead would finish third overall to earn the team six more points after she was clocked at 27.07 seconds.

Childers would be the next Warrior to score points, as she finished third in the 400 meter dash thanks to a time of 1:00.69 en route to earning six more points for Corban. Haley Holboke would also earn points thanks to a fifth place finish that was worth four points, as she turned in a time of 1:02.67.

In the 800 meter run, Childers would earn six more points for the team thanks to a third place finish after turning in a time of 2:21.60. Elizabeth Weber would also earn a single point for the Warriors, as she finished seventh overall with a time of 2:26.12.

Weber would return to the track in the 1,500 meter run and earned four points thanks to a fifth place finish after she was clocked at 4:55.36.

In the 5,000 meter run, Olivia Johnson would earn eight points for the team thanks to a runner-up showing after turning in a time of 18:53.68.

Reifschneider would earn Corban's first trophy with a victory in the 100 meter hurdles, as she earned 10 points thanks to a winning time of 16.17 seconds.

Immediately following Reischneider's victory, Russell earned 10 more points with a win in the 400 meter hurdles after turning in a winning time of 1:04.58. Estabrook would also earn three points with a sixth place finish thanks to a time of 1:10.22.

In the 3,000 meter steeplechase, Mesha Perkins and McKenzie Poe would combine to earn 13 more points for the Warriors thanks to second and fourth place finishes, respectively, as Perkins was clocked at 12:55.32 and Poe turned in a time of 13:07.42.

Corban would capture its third title of the day, as the Warriors' 4x400 meter relay team turned in a winning time of 4:06.00. A second 4x400 meter relay team would compete for Corban finishing third, but did not earn any points since 10 points had already been awarded to a team from the same school.

In the high jump, Taylor would win the team's fourth title of the day earning 10 more points when she tied her own school-record by clearing the bar at 1.65 meters (5-feet, 5-inches). Alli Ehrhardt and Carey Deyoe would also earn points for Corban, as the duo combined for 9.50 points thanks to third and fifth place finishes, respectively.

Kohl would wrap up the day for the Warriors, as she earned a combined 20 points with her titles in the long and triple jumps. In the long jump, Kohl won the event by almost one foot thanks to a leap of 5.35 meters (17-feet, 6.75-inches). Deyoe also earned a point for the Warriors in the event finishing seventh overall.

In the triple jump, Kohl took home the title by winning the event by more than 20 inches thanks to a leap of 10.88 meters (35-feet, 8.50-inches). Ehrhardt would also earn six points for the team, as she finished third overall to cap Corban's scoring on the afternoon.

Corban will return to action on Thursday, April 25th, when a select few compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Multi-Event Championships hosted by Oregon Tech beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Klamath Falls.
