WILDER, Idaho – Coyote standout Kyle DeLorey has a share of the lead after 36 holes, with Concordia University holding the team lead at the 2013 College of Idaho Invitational at River Bend Golf Course.

Day 1 Results

On a blustery day where winds reached 45 miles per hour, The C of I junior was one of four players to record a pair of rounds in the 70s, with his +12 (77-79, 156) total tied for the lead with Northwest Christian’s Tyler Falk (76-80, 156) and Casey Faught of Rocky Mountain (78-78, 156).  DeLorey has now recorded 15-straight rounds in the 70s this season.

Concordia received a great team effort on Day 1 – as a trio of players sit in a tie for fourth, helping the Cavaliers to a two-round total of 633 (308-325).  Jed Dalton (76-81, 157), Kolton Kyne (80-77, 157), and Tanner Maahs (76-81, 157) all sit just one stroke back of the overall leaders.

Corban (319-327, 646) is 13-strokes back of Concordia, with Jared Lambert (79-79, 158) in a tie for eighth overall, with both North Idaho College and RMC in a tie for third at 648.

Andrew Johnson (84-73, 157) shot the best round of the day, carding a one-over 73 in Round 2, helping Warner Pacific (327-327, 654) into fifth-place, with Northwest Nazarene in sixth (327-329, 656) and Westminster (323-339, 662) in seventh.

Despite each having a player tied for the overall lead, neither eighth-place NCU (331-346, 677), nor ninth-place C of I (345-336, 681) have a player in the Top-30.

The final round begins tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (MDT)
