Concordia Women's Golf Signs Five for 2013-14
PORTLAND, Ore.—Fresh off winning its second straight NAIA Regional title, and sixth straight CCC title, the Concordia women’s golf program announced a five-member recruiting class on Wednesday.
Abby Brennan, Lynsie Furuya, Monsesca Jouwsma, Jamie Stilwell and Kelsey Whiles make up the five-member class, which will increase the Cavs’ depth next season, as the Cavs only lose one senior off this year’s team in Brenda Fasse.
Brennan comes to the Cavs out of Sheldon High School in Eugene, Ore., where she has competed for one of the premier teams in the state of Oregon. Sheldon has placed third and fourth in the OSAA 6A State Tournament during Brennan’s sophomore and junior seasons, respectively, and stand as one of the top contenders for the state title again this season, with Brennan as a senior captain.
