Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC and NAIA West student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of April 29 – May 5.
Men’s Outdoor- Field
Concordia’s Ethan Moore has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for April 29 – May 5.
Moore, a senior from Moro, Ore., equaled his career best in the high jump at the Oregon Twilight to match the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship 'A' standard. Only five NAIA jumpers have cleared a higher height in 2013 while Moore's mark was just 3/4 of an inch off the Concordia school record. Moore also ran anchor leg on the 400-meter relay team which turned in the No. 2 time in school history with a 42.34.

Men’s Outdoor-Track
Concordia’s Jordan Reeher has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for April 29 – May 5.
Reeher, a sophomore from Prineville, Ore., won the 400-meter hurdles at the Pacific Twilight last week with an NAIA auto qualifying time of 53.71. Reeher won the one-lapper by more than a full second over 22 other individuals. Reeher currently holds the NAIA's No. 5 time in eth event with a season-best 53.53. Reeher also ran a leg on the 400-meter relay team at the University of Oregon Twilight where Concordia posted the No. 2 time in school history with a 42.34.

Women’s Outdoor-Field
Warner Pacific’s Tiffanie Nyssen has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for April 29 – May 5.
Nyseen, a sophomore from Gresham, Ore., set a new WPC record in the pole vault at the Pacific Twilight. Her event winning height of 12-00.5 is also a NAIA "A" qualifying effort and the 5th best in the NAIA this year.

Women’s Outdoor- Track
College of Idaho’s Hillary Holt has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for April 29 – May 5.
Holt, a junior from Meridian, Idaho, hit the USATF "A" Standard (qualifying for the U.S. Outdoor National Championships) with her upset win at Oregon Twilight, defeating a field comprised primarily of professionals, a 3-Time British National Champion, and an Olympian. Her time was the fastest 1,500-meters ever run by an collegiate athlete in the State of Idaho. It is the 5th fastest time in all college divisions this year (only non D-I runner in Top-28) and 14th fastest time ran by a US runner in 2013
