LAGRANDE, Ore. – U.S. Bank, one of the preeminent financial institutions in the United States will be the Official Bank of the Cascade Collegiate Conference in 2013-14 and 2014-15, CCC commissioner Rob Cashell announced. In addition, U.S. Bank will be the presenting sponsor for all CCC Championships and the conference Academic Award has been renamed the U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference Award.

The CCC’s 10 member institutions, based in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, will compete for CCC championships in thirteen sports this upcoming year including; men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s track and field. Each championship will be headlined by U.S. Bank as “The Presenting Sponsor.”

The renamed U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference award will recognize the outstanding achievements in the classroom by CCC student athletes. In order to receive the award a student athlete must be of sophomore standing, have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher and have been in residence at their institution for the previous three terms or two semesters. In 2012-13 477 student athletes will have earned the honor.
