Yotes Predicted to Repeat as CCC Women’s Cross Country Champs
LA GRANDE, Ore. – Earning nine of 10 first-place votes, the College of Idaho Coyotes are the clear favorite to repeat as 2013 Cascade Conference women’s cross country champions, as selected by CCC coaches in a preseason poll.
The Yotes will be led by senior Hillary Holt, who won both the CCC and NAIA titles last season as a junior. Northwest Christian was picked to finish second by the conference coaches.
Eastern Oregon edged out Concordia for third in the preseason ranking while Southern Oregon took fifth, including the last remaining first-place vote. Northwest was picked sixth, followed by Oregon Tech, Corban, Warner Pacific and Evergreen.
The CCC Championships are set for Nov. 9 at Brothers Park in Caldwell Idaho, beginning at 11 a.m. Mountain Standard Time.
