Southern Oregon Picked To Run Away With CCC Men’s Cross Country Title
LA GRANDE, Ore. – Picking up all ten first place votes, defending champion Southern Oregon is predicted to repeat as victor at the 2013 Cascade Conference Cross Country Championship on Nov. 9 in Caldwell, Idaho.
The Raiders, who spent the entire regular season ranked No. 1 in the NAIA Top 25, won the 2012 title by 34 points. Eastern Oregon is predicted to finish second at the CCC Championships. College of Idaho was selected third while Concordia was just a point back at fourth.
Oregon Tech was picked fifth in the coaches’ poll, followed by Northwest Christian in sixth. Corban was seventh while Northwest and Warner Pacific were tied for eighth. Evergreen rounded out the poll in 10th.
The CCC Championships are set for Nov. 9 at Brothers Park in Caldwell Idaho, beginning at 11 a.m. Mountain Standard Time.
