Red Lion Cascade/Frontier Challenge Concludes In Spokane
SPOKANE, Wash. – After three full days of volleyball, members of the Cascade Conference and Frontier Conference shook hands and went their separate ways as the Red Lion Cascade/Frontier Challenge concluded on Saturday at the HUB Sports Center in Spokane, Wash.
Rocky Mountain finished the three-day invitational undefeated, having beaten Corban in four sets in the day’s first match. The Battlin’ Bears also added a scrimmage victory against North Idaho before heading back to Billings, Mont.
In a battle of top-25 teams, 21st-ranked Eastern Oregon swept past 25th-ranked Carroll, though no set was decided by less than three points.
Also among the highlights was a four-set win by Evergreen over Montana Western as the Geoducks snapped at 51-match losing streak that dated back to the 2010 season.
