Adidas Team of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University women’s basketball team has been named the “Adidas Team of the Week” for January 12-18, the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Sunday.
The Mountaineers ran their CCC best record to 9-0 with victories over Northwest Christian 71-56 and Corban 73-61. Eastern sits atop the standings with a three game cushion heading into the second half of league play and has won 29 straight CCC contests.
Against NCU Kelsey Hill led the way with 14pts while Nicole Redd paced EOU with 21pts against Corban
EOU (17-4, 9-0 CCC) will resume CCC play on the road January 24-25 as they travel to Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.
