Hootie Victorious in Mascot Challenge Semifinal # 2 1/30/2014 8:03:41 PM LA GRANDE, Ore.- Semifinal #2 is officially in the books with Hootie from Oregon Tech defeating Mr. Beacon from Northwest Christian. The Hustlin' Owls faithful "liked" their feathered friend a total of 431 times compared to 264 for Mr. Beacon. The win sets up the finals between Eastern Oregon's Monty the Mountaineer and Oregon Tech's Hootie. The Championship voting will begin Feb. 4 at 8 a.m. PST.
