KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech scored first but Southern Oregon answered with 5 goals to win 5-1 Saturday Afternoon in Cascade Conference action at Trevor Derrah Field as the Raiders clinch the No. 4 seed in the CCC Tournament. Oregon Tech took the 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute when SOU failed to clear ball and Amanda Hisey scored her 5th goal of the season from 18-yards out. The equalizer belonged to Megan McArthur in the 26th minute for SOU. She hit a chip-shot via a Kelsey Randall corner kick. McArthur scored again in the 58th minute putting the Raiders up 2-1 after she stole a loose ball and shot it from 20 yards out over Owl keeper Rebekah Matteri's head. Randall then scored twice for SOU to give the Raiders 4-1 lead. Seren DeChristofaro finished the Raider scoring in the 79th minute scoring off a great pass from Avery Dutton. Kylie Moltzen was credited with the keeper win for SOU, collecting six saves in a complete game. Matteri was pegged with the loss facing 16 shots and having 8 saves. Southern Oregon (4-4-1 CCC, 5-10-1) will travel to third-seed Corban on Nov. 5 to open the CCC Post season tournament. Oregon Tech season comes to end with a record of 5-10-2 and 0-7-2 in CCC Play.
