Yotes Stop Warner Pacific in Overtime
PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific suffered their second overtime loss in as many games, falling to College of Idaho 3-2 tonight at Damazo Field.

• The Short Story: Warner Pacific surrendered a lead for a second game in a row at home, this time versus the Yotes. Joseph Bolin scored the golden goal in the 106th minute to send C of I to the CCC victory. The visiting Yotes overcame a red card issued in the second overtime and held off several promising chances by Warner Pacific before finding the game winner.
How it Happened
• Riley Smith put C of I ahead inside of five minutes after the kick off.
• Warner Pacific equalized off the foot of Mario Guizar, who scored with a 15 yard drive in the 20th minute.
• The Knights claimed the lead in the 52nd minute, as Joe White trotted up from his keeper position to bury a penalty kick that was awarded after a hand ball in the box.
• Another whistle for a handball occurred in the 78th minute, this time against WPC. Tyler Lawton cashed in on the spot kick to tie the score.
• The teams battled to the end of regulation and through the first overtime with no real chances at goal.
• Warner Pacific pressed forward in the second overtime, earning two corner kicks and several looks at goal but could not pull the trigger.
• Bolin won the game for C of I with a quality individual effort, powering past the defense on the left flank and rolling a shot to the far post.
