 LA GRANDE, Ore. – Quarterfinals have ended and the field is set for the 2014 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship semifinals presented by U.S. Bank. Third seed Concordia and fourth-seed College of Idaho will join top seeded Eastern Oregon and second-seed Southern Oregon as the remaining teams. 
 
C of I swept past the quarterfinal round winning at home against Northwest in three straight sets 25-23, 25-14, 25-16. Junior outside hitter Bailee Kendall led the Yotes recording a match-high 11 kills while junior setter Sierra Porter totaled 39 assists and seven digs.
 
As the fourth seed, C of I will travel to face off against Eastern Oregon in the semifinals. Eastern is coming off a first round bye after earning a portion of the regular season conference title.
 
Concordia secured the last semifinal spot in the tournament defeating Oregon Tech at home in four sets, 25-23, 25-16, 27-29, 25-20. Freshman outside hitter Lindsey Dorsey led the attack for the Cavaliers ending the night with 23 kills while junior libero Shantel Gritsch totaled 18 digs. Junior outside hitter Brianna Hogan added 16 kills with a 0.469 attacking percentage.
 
The Cavaliers will travel to the final site taking on Southern Oregon in the semifinals. Southern received the second first-round bye while earning the other portion of the season title along with Eastern.
 
The semifinals will take place on Friday, Nov. 14 in La Grande, Ore. Game times are as follows:
 
#2 SOU vs. #3 Concordia- 4 p.m. PST
#1 EOU vs #4 The College of Idaho 7 p.m. PST
 
Winners will play for the championship title on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m.
