KANSAS CITY, MO.- Every NAIA instituion's and conference's progress in pursuing character education is tracked and recognized annually for achievements in training, promotion and conduct in competition. The Champions of Character Scorecard measures commitment in five key areas and totals 100 points. Gold (90-100 points), Silver (75-89 points) and Bronze levels (60-74 points) are awarded.

5. 28 institutions presented Redefining the Term Student-Athlete = 8,328 student-athletes heard the message
6. 30,821 individuals heard Champions of Character core values in other ways.
7. Total 187,731 individuals were reached outside of the NAIA.
