Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of December 8-14.
De'Sean Mattox
Men’s Basketball
Eastern Oregon’s De’Sean Mattox has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Mattox, a senior guard from Phoenix, Ariz., led the Mountaineers with a game-high and season-highs in points (44) and rebounds (14). This was his second double-double of the season.
He was 15-for-24 from the floor and 9-of-15 from behind the arc.

Brittany Gray
Women’s Basketball
The Evergreen State College’s Brittany Gray has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Gray, a senior forward from Bainbridge Island, Wash., had two double-doubles and ended up one rebound away from a third as the Geoducks went 2-1 against NCAA Division III Northwest Conference opponents.
She shot 46 percent from the field, 80 percent from the foul line and averaged 17.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
