PORTLAND, Ore.—Holding Concordia to 25.5 percent shooting on the night, Oregon Tech defeated the Cavaliers 82-50 on Friday to move into sole possession of second place in the CCC standings.

Oregon Tech (24-5, 12-5 CCC) raced out to a 48-19 halftime lead after connecting on 53.8 percent of its attempts. The Owl defense, meanwhile, held the Cavaliers to just six made field goals for a 21.4 percent rate in the first half to break open the 29-point lead.

Led by 14 points from Tess Armstrong, five Owls scored in double figures. Ashleigh Vandenbrink and Kassi Conditt added 12 points. With eight boards, Conditt also shared game-high rebounding honors with Maria Ramirez.

Lexi Campbell (Brentwood, Calif./Heritage H.S.) recorded a team-high 11 points in the loss for Concordia (7-22, 4-13 CCC).

Oregon Tech shot 50.0% from the field (32 for 64), including 12 of 27 from long range.

With the result, Oregon Tech set a single-season record for wins in a season.

Concordia will host Southern Oregon on Saturday Oregon Tech for its Senior Night while Oregon Tech will play at Warner Pacific College in its last regular season contest of the year. Both games are scheduled to tipoff at 5:30 p.m. in Portland.
