PORTLAND, Ore. - The excitement of senior night provided no help for the Warner Pacific women's basketball team, as the Knights fell 71-38 to Oregon Tech tonight.

Oregon Tech jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game, holding the Knights without a field goal until Jacki Cannon scored in the paint at the 14:44 mark.

The remainder of the first period belonged to the visiting Owls (25-5, 13-5 CCC), thanks to 10 points in the half from Kassi Konditt and a team-wide shooting slump from Warner Pacific (5 of 22). OIT headed into halftime with a 37-16 lead.

The lid stayed on the basket for Warner Pacific (6-23, 2-16 CCC) during the second half also, as the Knights ended the game at 22 percent (11 of 50) from the field. Kristen Swim came off the bench to provide a brief spark for WP with eight points, but the Owls removed all doubt by scoring nine unanswered to end the game and provide the final margin.

Tess Armstrong led OIT and all players with 15 points, while Konditt added 14 points and eight rebounds.

WP was led by 11 points from Jordan Wilcox, and Ali Campbell grabbed a game high 10 rebounds.

Knight seniors Ali Campbell, Janelle Weiss, Erin Miller, Jacki Cannon, and Lacy Wood were honored before the game.
