The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period January 27  – February 2.
 
Women’s Basketball
 
Concordia’s Caitlyn McCutcheon has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the week.
 
McCutcheon, a junior from Portland, Ore., had a dominating weekend to lead CU a weekend sweep at College of Idaho and No. 16-ranked Eastern Oregon. McCutcheon averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds while shooting an 81.8 percent from the floor. Recording her eighth and ninth ‘double-doubles’ of the season, McCutcheon was also clutch from the free throw line, hitting 10 of 12 from the line. For the season, McCutcheon is ranked inside the CCC’s top 5 in rebounding (3rd, 9.3 rpg), field goal percentage (5th, .523) and blocks (4th, 1.2 bpg).

Men’s Basketball
 
College of Idaho’s Demetrius Perkins has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the week.
 
Perkins, a junior from Compton, Calif., was instrumental in the Yotes two victories, improving their home mark to 11-0 on the season and recording their 21st 20-win season...made 15-of-15 FTs on the weekend, while tallying 23 of his 29 points in the second half of the win over Warner Pacific.

Women’s Indoor Track
 
College of Idaho’s Hillary Holt has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Holt, a senior from Meridian, Idaho, crushed a solid Division I field in the 800-meters, recording the top time in the NAIA this winter. The 12-time NAIA All-American followed it up by running the anchor leg in the school-record setting 4x400-relay, both hitting the NAIA "A" standard.

Men’s Indoor Track
 
College of Idaho’s Nick Hampton has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the week.
 
Hampton, a senior from Eagle, Idaho, hit the NAIA "A" standard with a quality win in the 1,000-meters at the Ed Jacoby Classic against a primarily NCAA Division I field.

Women’s Indoor Field
 
Eastern Oregon’s Tali Fagen has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the week.
 
Fagen, a sophomore from Fruitland, Idaho, hit the NAIA “A” standard in the Pole Vault at the Ed Jacoby Invite. She vaulted 3.50 meters (11-5 3/4) during the event to finish sixth. She was the highest NAIA finisher in Pole Vault.

Men’s Indoor Field
 
College of Idaho’s Austin Basterrechea has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Basterrechea, a senior from Gooding, Idaho, recorded the #1 mark in the NAIA in the heptathlon, routing the field with his school-record performance...he broke C of I's indoor high-jump (6-7 1/2) and pole vault records (4.25 meters), while winning the 1,000-meters, and establishing a new personal best in the shot put (40-9 1/2).
