SALEM, Ore. – Tyler Falk from Northwest Christian ran away from the field to win men’s medalist honors as the Corban Invitational golf tournament came to a close Tuesday afternoon at Creekside Golf Club.

Falk, who carded a one-under 143 to lead by six strokes after Monday’s 36-hole marathon, fired a one-under 71 in sunny conditions today to ended up with a two-under-par 214, 10 strokes better than runner-up Jesse Heinly from Concordia.

Heinly’s 224 led the way for Concordia to win the team title, however, as the Cavaliers finished with a 306-296-301 – 903, 21 strokes ahead of runner-up Northwest Christian, second with 316-305-303 – 924.

Rounding out the team scores were Simpson 932 (308-310-314), Corban (320-317-298), Warner Pacific 945 (317-309-319), College of Idaho 1010 (341-339-330) and Oregon Tech 1012 (338-344-330). Corban had the lowest team score of the third round with its 298.

After Falk and Heinly came Corban’s Zach Mode and Concordia’s Ryan Melnychuk, both with 227, and in fifth was Concordia’s Kyle DeLorey at 228. Mode tied Falk for low score of the day, both at one-under 71.
