Start of Corban-Concordia baseball series delayed until Saturday
PORTLAND, Ore.—With heavy rain continuing to hit the metro in the afternoon, the start of a four-game baseball series between Concordia and Corban has been delayed until Saturday, Concordia head coach
Rob Vance announced on Friday.
The series was originally set to kickoff with a single game at 2 p.m. on Friday. The two teams will now play a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.
Opening pitch for the first game on Saturday is now set for 1 p.m. while the second twinbill will begin on Sunday with a noon start.
With 7-5 league records, Concordia (17-10) and Corban (17-13) are currently tied for third place in the NAIA West standings.
