The following CCC and NAIA West student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period March 24 – March 30.
 
Softball Pitcher
 
Oregon Tech’s Cassidy Olson has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Olson, a senior from Anderson, Calif., improved to 8-3 on the season with a 3-1 win on the road at Southern Oregon.  She went the distance, allowing six hits and no earned runs with a pair of strikeouts in a 3-1 win over the Raiders.

Softball Player
 
College of Idaho’s Destiny Turner has been named the Red Lion Softball Player of the Week.
 
Turner, a freshman from Boise, Idaho, reached base in all eight plate appearances on the week, going 6-for-6 with three doubles, a triple, four RBI, and two walks as the Yotes went 3-1 with a sweet over Eastern Oregon and a split with Corban.

Baseball Pitcher
 
British Columbia’s Conor Lillis-White has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Lillis-White, a junior from Toronto, Ont., threw a complete-game, five-hitter to lead his UBC Thunderbirds to a 5-0 victory over the Menlo Oaks on Saturday, March 29 in Vancouver. The junior was dominant against Menlo, striking out eight batters while walking one, in lowering his earned run average to 0.66, third best in the NAIA. Lillis-White improved to 5-0 on the season. He also made a relief appearance on Wednesday, March 26 at Thompson Rivers.

Baseball Player
 
Lewis-Clark State’s Ryan Sells has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Sells, a senior from Brier, Wash., led the Warriors to a 6-0 record on the road this week (and to a 9-1 record during the team's 10 game road trip). He became the first Warrior to hit three homers in a game since 2007 (Beau Mills) on Monday and continued to propel the offense the rest of the week.

Women’s Field
 
Oregon Tech’s Kassi Conditt has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Conditt, a senior from La Pine, Ore., won the shot put by more than two feet in a mostly DII meet at Chico State. Now leads the CCC by more than foot, Conditt also now ranks 11th in the NAIA in shot put. She took third in the discus as well.

Women’s Track
 
College of Idaho’s Jasmine Hurd has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Hurd, a senior from Boise, Idaho, hit the NAIA "A" cut in the heptathlon at the Aztec Invite...improved her NAIA "A" standard in the 100-hurdles (14.55), while also establishing a personal best mark of 25.77 in the 200-meters.

Men’s Field
 
Concordia’s Jordan Reeher has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Reeher, a junior from Prineville, Ore., turned in the NAIA’s No. 4 point total of the season and the third highest sum in school history with 6,052 points at the Mt. Hood Multis last week. Reeher won three of five events on the first day including 852 points in the 400-meter dash with a career best time of 49.19. Reeher topped more than 700 points in two other events, the 100-meter dash (789) and the 1,500-meter run (743). Western Oregon's Eric Gaines finished in second place overall with 5,717 points, more than 300 behind Reeher.

Men’s Track
 
Concordia’s Matthew Clowes has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Clowes, a junior from Stoke-on-Trent, England, turned in the NAIA’s top time in the 1,500 with a 3:50.15 at a rainy Willamette Invitational last week. Clowes won the ‘A’ section of the race by more than five seconds and holds the national lead by a full second over Oklahoma City’s Msaba Matko (3:51.54).

Women’s Golf
 
Concordia’s Lynsie Furuya has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.

Furuya, a freshman from Honolulu, Hawaii, led Concordia at the Battle at Primm last week with an 11th-place finish in a field that featured four top-20 teams in the most recent NAIA coaches’ poll. Out of 57 individuals, Furuya tied for the fourth-best round on the second day with a 3-over 75 for the 5,938-yard course

Men’s Golf
 
Concordia’s Kolton Kyne has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Kyne, a sophomore from Ridgay, Colo., led Concordia at the Battle at Primm last week where he placed ninth overall out of 90 individuals. With a 69 in the second round of play, Kyne, just a sophomore, finished 2-under par for 54 holes. The event featured  15 teams either ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA coaches’ poll, including five top-10 teams.
