Herman named to NABC Coaches' NAIA All-America Team

KANSAS CITY – Concordia's Adam Herman (Vancouver, Wash./Prairie H.S.) continues to pick up postseason accolades as the senior was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2014 NABC Coaches' NAIA All-America team.

Herman was one of 10 student-athletes picked to the NAIA DII All-America team. Herman averaged 24.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while leading Concordia to its first appearance at the NAIA DII National Championships in over a decade. Herman, the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, closed out his career with a school record 2,257 points.

The members of the team were selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC.

About the National Association of Basketball Coaches
Located in Kansas City, MO, the NABC was founded in 1927 by Phog Allen, the legendary basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Allen, a student of James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, organized coaches into this collective group to serve as Guardians of the Game. The NABC currently has nearly 5,000 members consisting primarily of university and college men's basketball coaches.
