Jared Lambert of Corban has a four-stroke lead after 36 Holes
NAMPA, Idaho – While three teams are separated by just five shots, Jared Lambert of Corban holds a four-shot lead after 36 holes at the Cascade Conference Championships, presented by U.S. Bank.
Day 1 Results
Regular-season champion, Concordia (309-305-614) is the team leader in the clubhouse on the 6,918-yard course, with Northwest Christian (310-305-615) just one stroke back, and Lambert pushing Corban (311-308-619) just five strokes off the pace.
Lambert carded back-to-back even-par 72s, recording seven birdies in his two rounds. Sam Mar of NCU (74-74-148) and Kyle DeLorey (76-72-148) sit four strokes back, followed by Jesse Heinly (74-75-149) of Concordia and Tyler Dearing (76-74-150) of Oregon Tech.
OIT (317-311-628) sits just 14 shots off the pace, with C of I (315-326-641) and Warner Pacific (327-324-651) rounding out the field.
The final round will begin tomorrow morning via a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
