Holt Runs Record-Setting 800 at Stanford Invite

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Hillary Holt ran the fastest 800-meter time in the NAIA this season, highlighting a big second day for the College of Idaho track team in the San Francisco Bay area.
 
Competing at the Stanford Invitational, Holt finished second in the premier heat of the 800, clocking a school record time of 2:06.59.  The senior was the second-fastest collegian among the 71 college athletes – including 61 from NCAA Division I schools.
 
North at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, C of I's women's 4x100-meter relay team of Brittany Beame, Nichole DeGrange, Hannah Lentz, and Jasmine Hurd hit the "B" cut with their time of 48.17.  A second school record was broken, as Jessica Aguilar broke her own school record in the shot put (39-3).

In the sprints, DeGrange also ran a season-best time in the 200-meters (25.53), while Beame broke the one-minute barrier in the 400-meters (59.64).
