SPRINGFIELD, Ore.—With five of the top eight individual finishers, Concordia University rolled to a 73-stroke win at the Northwest Christian Invitational played at the Springfield Country Club on Tuesday, sealing the team's seventh straight regular-season Cascade Collegiate Conference title.

Concordia (315-323-311—949) posted a wire-to-wire win with the three best overall rounds of the tournament.

Behind the strength of individual medalist Baylee Borchers (77-76-80—233), College of Idaho (334-338-350—1,022) placed second overall in the standings with Northwest Christian (360-346-353—1,059) next in line.

Simpson University (361-355-356—1,072), Corban University (371-359-354—1,084) and Oregon Tech (398-409-392—1,199) rounded out the six-team field.

The regular-season championship is determined by the total number of strokes tallied over four conference tournaments with the Cavs sweeping all four events by an average of 62 strokes. Concordia tallied a four-tournament score of 3,879 strokes with College of Idaho (4,167) and Corban (4,335) in the second and third positions.

Borchers held off a late-charging attempt by Concordia's Madison Alamillo (79-82-74—235) to take first place overall after Alamillo posted the tournament's lowest single-round score of a 2-over 74 on Tuesday to jump from fifth to second on the final day of action.

Alamillo's teammates Jennifer Gibbons (76-80-80—236) and Sunny Powers (79-80-79—238) placed third and fourth with the team's final two competitors, Kelsey Whiles (81-81-80—242) and Lynsie Furuya (82-84-78—244) taking the seventh and eighth positions on the leaderboard.

In addition to Borchers play, C of I received a second top-10 performance as Gabriella Giesbrecht (84-83-86—253) came in at ninth overall.

The top golfers for Oregon Tech and Warner Pacific tied for 10th overall with OIT's Alyssa Clements (85-91-80—256) and WPC's Scotti Jo Helmick (82-89-85—256) leading their respective teams. The host Beacons were led by the duo of Haley Partridge (87-85-88—260) and Sami Pitts (88-86-87—261) who claimed 12th and 13th place, respectively, over the 5,801-yard course

The CCC Championships, the fifth conference event of the season that takes place April 21-22 in Nampa, Idaho. The CCC women's championship will not carry an automatic bid into the national tournament, so qualifying to nationals will require an at-large selection. The Cavaliers will be seeking their 10th straight appearance at the national championships. Concordia placed 16th nationally last season.
