NAMPA, Idaho – Cameron Bremner swept the short sprint events, and Athlete of the Meet Eric Avila won a spirited 5,000-meter race, leading Southern Oregon to the team title at the Cascade Conference Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, at the NNU Track.

Bremner picked up tight wins in both the 100-meters (10.78) and the 200-meters (21.60), helping the Raiders to 188 team points – five points ahead of second-place Concordia.

Avila, who won the 1,500-meters yesterday, placed second in the 800-meters (1:50.83) and won the 5,000-meters (14:42.11) – rallying over the final mile for the victory.

Concordia was led by Field Athlete of the Meet Darien Moore, who set a new meet record with a victory in the shot put (63-4 1/2), with fellow Cavalier Jordan Reeher repeating as 400-hurdles champ (53.38).

Eastern Oregon placed third, led by a meet-record win in the 800-meters by Hans Roelle (1:49.76).
