EUGENE, Ore. – After earning GCAA/PING All-American honors on Friday, Tyler Falk added an official NAIA All-America First-Team Selection on Monday.

Falk capped off an illustrious career with a senior season for the ages. He was ranked in the top-ten in nearly every statistical category in the NAIA, including a 71.67 adjusted scoring average which was the fourth lowest total in the nation.

He also ranked third in Par-5 scoring (4.65) and fourth in birdies-per-round (3.94) and average score against par (-0.29). Falk recently finished 35th at the NAIA National Championship, having qualified for the event by winning the Cascade Collegiate Conference championship in April.

Falk said, "It is a very humbling feeling to be able to achieve a goal that I set for myself when I got here, to earn First-Team All-American honors. I always look back on the journey at times like this and reflect on the group of people who have encouraged me and supported me through it all. That is what it comes down too. Whether it was my teammates, coaches, family, or friends, I have wonderful people who keep me inspired and I am very thankful for that."

Falk won four tournaments during the season, including three straight in the spring. In the fall he won the 51-player Cavalier Classic with a NCU and CCC-record setting 12-under par score. He tied the CCC record with a 64 in the second round of the event, the best 18-hole score of his career.

This spring Falk earned medalist honors in three CCC events, the Corban Invitational, NCU Invitational, and the CCC Championship. In the CCC Championship at Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, Idaho, Falk stormed back from a five-shot deficit over the final nine holes to claim the title by one shot.

A historic senior season included school records from Win-Loss percentage (90.5%), Stroke average (72.1) and Tournament medals (4) and Falk finishes his career as NCU's all-time leader as well in all three categories.

The Two-Time CCC Player of the Year was also named NCU's Athlete of the Year for the third time.
