Live Results from Dakotas Tour at Marshall GC
MARSHALL, Minn. – Tyler Falk, one of the most decorated athletes in NCU history has official begun his professional golfing career, playing in the Dakotas Tour. His first event began on Monday at Marshall Golf Club.
The competitive mini-tour will bounce around the Midwest over the next few months, including two straight events in Yankton, South Dakota to close out July. Then it will be on to Nebraska, North Dakota, and Iowa.
Falk said, “I played in the Midwest in 2011 for the US Amateur, but I haven’t played in the area since. I remember the environment but the circumstances are completely different. I’m just going to keep my eyes open and watch what my competitors do to see if I can learn anything. The majority of the guys on this tour were accomplished amateur and collegiate golfers.”
This summer Falk signed on as a staff member with Bridgestone Golf. He represents them as they support his efforts on tour and supply him with equipment.
Falk closed out a remarkable career with the Beacons as a two-time CCC Player of the Year, two-time PING All-Region selection, and a 2014 NAIA First-Team All-American. He won seven tournaments during his career with NCU and was NCU’s all-time leader for stroke average.
