HELENA, Mont. – Junior Erin Hardy scored in the ninth minute to give the Evergreen Geoducks an early lead but the host Carroll Saints posted a late comeback to earn a 2-1 win in a non-conference women's soccer match on Sunday at Nelson Stadium in Helena, Mont.

Hardy scored for the Geoducks on just their second shot of the game as Evergreen took the early lead.  The advantage held until the 62nd minute as Katey Friedt evened it up for the Saints on an assist by Tessa Neameyer.  The game-winner came with just over three minutes to go as Michaela Kueffler put a ball past Kyla Kitts for the 2-1 win as Carroll completed the comeback.

Carroll held a 19-9 advantage on shots but Kitts was solid in net, making 10 saves for Evergreen.  Jamie Carter recorded three saves for Carroll to earn the win.

The Geoducks continue the holiday weekend road trip on Monday morning as they travel to University of Great Falls.  First kick with the Argos is set for 11 a.m. MT.
