Red Lion Players of the Week
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 22-28.
Women’s Soccer- Defensive
Warner Pacific’s Allie Holterman, a senior from Vancouver, Wash., has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Nine total saves last week for Holterman during conference wins over Corban and NCU. Both victories were shutouts for the senior, giving her four clean sheets in 2014.

Women’s Soccer- Offensive
Northwest’s Acacia Johnson, a senior from Puyallup, Wash., has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Johnson scored a goal in each of the Eagles wins this weekend to open CCC play including the game winner in the 75th minute in the win over Southern Oregon to help NU post a 2-0 record on their road trip. Now has 7 goals for the season tying her for the top spot in the CCC.
Honorable mention: Alicia Kolter, Concordia
Men’s Soccer-Defensive
Corban’s Tim Kagey, a sophomore from West Linn, Ore., has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Kagey spearheaded the Warrior defense in two conference shutout wins during the week, playing a pivotal roll in the center-back position. In addition to his dominant defense, he also dished out an assist in the victory over Northwest Christian.

Men’s Soccer-Offensive
Concordia’s Ben Culpan, a junior from Auckland, New Zealand, has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Culpan pulled down a hat trick on the road against College of Idaho… Culpan scored in the 22nd, 24th and 73rd minutes for his first career three-goal performance and the first by a CCC player this season... Culpan came back to notch an assist in the opening goal in a 2-1 win against Northwest on Saturday.

Volleyball- Offensive
Southern Oregon’s Paula Pinheiro, a senior from Fortaleza, Brazil, has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
Pinheiro broke Eastern Oregon's match-point three times with kills in the fifth set Friday on her way to a career-high 25. Added 15 more kills on Saturday, putting her in double figures for the fifth straight match. Also had 10 digs Saturday (after recording nine Friday) for her sixth double-double of the season.
Honorable mention: Hannah Hanson, Northwest
Volleyball- Defensive
Southern Oregon’s Brookelynn Cole, a senior from Portland, Ore., has been named the Red Lion Defensive Player of the Week.
Cole collected a team-high 50 digs over the weekend, helping the Raiders make Eastern and C of I their 10th and 11th straight opponents who failed to reach a .200 hitting average.
Honorable mention: Kilee Lopez, College of Idaho; Brianna Hogan, Concordia
Men’s Golf
Corban’s Kade Crossland, a freshman from Buhl, Idaho, has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Crossland won the Oregon Tech Invite by two strokes, setting a new school-record for lowest three-round total ever (207). He also tied the best mark in program history with his second-round score of 67. For Crossland, it was his second individual tournament championship in as many events thus far during the 2014-15 campaign.

Women’s Golf
Concordia’s Madison Allamillo, a junior from Battle Ground, Wash., has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
In the season opener, Alamillo won her first collegiate tournament total last week with a 14-over 230 in three rounds of play at the Oregon Tech Invite held ay the Running Y Ranch… Alamillo won by six strokes to lead Concordia to a team title by a whopping 90 strokes over the runner-up team.
