NAMPA, Idaho – Keynan Fanslow of Northwest Nazarene went wire-to-wire to earn medalist honors, helping the Crusaders rally for the team championship at the College of Idaho Invitational at Ridgecrest Golf Club.

Fanslow, the co-leader in the clubhouse after Day 1, shot a final round 71 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 9-under-par (67-69-71-207), one stroke ahead of teammate Jack Strickland (68-72-68-208). 
 
The duo helped the Crusaders rally from a seven shot deficit to earn the team title (282-283-284-849) by two strokes over an OIT (286-272-293-851) team that won their third-straight Cascade Conference event of the fall and recorded the second-lowest score by a conference team in a CCC sanctioned tournament.
 
Day 1 co-leader Montana Frame (71-65-79-215) of OIT could not keep the pace, finishing in a tie for fifth with teammate Houston Knox (73-67-75-215), while Tech’s Tyler Swinton (71-70-73-214) had the top round of the day for the squad, helping him vault into fourth-place.  Two other Owls were in the Top-10 – as David Murphy (71-75-71-217) and Josh Whitley (73-70-74-217) tied for seventh.
 
Luke Malinen (72-71-70-213) finished third at 3-under-par, helping Walla Walla CC (301-299-296-896) place third, with Easton Enott (73-73-74-220) taking 11th overall to lead Great Falls (302-297-299-898).
Taylor Noble (79-70-74-223) placed 13th for Rocky Mountain (303-292-308-903); Landon Joy (74-71-83-228) was in a tie for 23rd to pace Corban (306-299-306-911); while Reed Burroughs (77-75-73-225) shot a 1-over-par 73 to place 17th, leading host C of I (313-296-307-916).
 
Northwest Christian (311-302-310-923) was led by Levi Dean (77-77-75-229) in 27th-place; Jacob Berg  of Warner Pacific (313-309-305-926) tied for the low round of the day with a 4-under 68 and placed 17th;  Walla Walla (325-329-323-977) got a 27th-place finish from Brendan Collins (75-78-76-229); with Multnomah led by Shelby Cox (105-91-96-292).
