College of Idaho Hangs On for Tournament Win
NAMPA, Idaho – Holding off a pair of fast charging challengers over the final 18 holes, the College of Idaho won their own tournament for the first time ever, as the Lady Yotes claimed the team title of the C of I Invitational at Ridgecrest Golf Club.

Taking a four-shot lead into the final round, C of I carded a 328 team score, with their 643 two-round total one stroke clear of both Rocky Mountain (319-325-644) and Oregon Tech (326-318-644).
The Lady Yotes closed out the fall portion of the season by winning all three Cascade Conference events, with top player Natalie Mullins placing second overall (75-78-153), but recording the top 36-hole score for a CCC player.
Kyla Clancy of Rocky Mountain earned medalist honors, finishing the tournament at 6-over-par (74-76-150), three strokes ahead of Mullins, and five shots clear of Janelle Ferlan (80-75-155) of Oregon Tech and Gina Kowolchuk (80-75-155) of Great Falls, who each carded the low round of the day.
All four C of I scorers were in the Top-12 – as Shaunel Fillmore placed seventh (79-82-161); Lexi Oropeza took eighth (78-84-162); and Kaily Beatty was 12th (83-85-168).
Rocky had two players in the Top-10 along with Clancy – Eryn Ellis in fifth (79-79-158) and McKenzie Webinger in tenth (83-82-165); while OIT had Kylie Collom in sixth (81-79-160) and Holly Froelich in eighth (84-78-162).
Jenna Jensen (84-84-168) and Carrie Wallace (78-90-168) led Corban with 12th-place finishes, helping the Warriors to a fourth-place team finish (329-347-676).
Among the individuals, Marissa Casanova (88-96-184) of Warner Pacific placed 23rd; Lauren Victorino (93-92-185) of Walla Walla CC placed 24th; and Ivory Linger (129-122-251) of Multnomah placed 34th.
