2015 Women’s Soccer Match of the Week – Eastern Oregon, Rocky Mountain meet up in CCC battle.

Eastern Oregon (10-1-0; 5-1-0 CCC) at Rocky Mountain (Mont.) (7-3-2; 5-1-1 CCC)

• This is the first time in school history that Eastern Oregon’s women’s soccer team will be featured in the NAIA Game of the Week.
• The Mountaineer’s currently lead the NAIA in shutouts per game (0.730).
• Eastern Oregon has recorded eight shutouts, which ranks them fifth in the NAIA.
• The Mountaineer offense also ranks in the top 15 in six categories:
o No. 5 in assists per game (3.180).
o No. 6 in goals per game (4.270).
o No. 8 in total goals (47).
o No. 8 in shots on goal per game (12.270).
o No. 11 in total assists (35).
o No. 13 in shots per game (21.360).
• Eastern Oregon is currently third in the CCC. They are one point behind the leader Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and Carroll (Mont.)
• Since 2008 Rocky Mountain is 2-0 against Eastern Oregon. The Battlin’ Bears won 4-0 on Aug. 26, 2012 and 1-0 on Sept. 6, 2008.
• Rocky Mountain is tied atop the CCC standings with Carroll.
• The Battlin’ Bears are averaging 1.58 goals per game, which ranks them fourth in the CCC.
• Head Coach Richard Duffy is in his 14th season at Rocky Mountain. He has compiled a 132-90-14 record.
Players to Watch:
• Zoe Anderson (Eastern Oregon): She scored the game winning goal on Oct. 4 to become the all-time leader in game-winning goals in school history. She currently ranks 13th in the NAIA in game-winning goals with four. On top of the that, Anderson ranks in the top 35 in the NAIA in five other offensive categories – No. 16 in game winning goals per game (0.360), No. 23 in goals per game (1.000), No. 24 in total goals (11), No. 26 in points per game (2.360) and No. 32 in total points (26.000).
• Crystal Schuder (Eastern Oregon): Leads the CCC in shots (57) and assists (5). She ranks No. 18 in the NAIA in shots per game (5.180) and shots on goal per game (2.910).
• Jessica Parker (Eastern Oregon): She leads the CCC and ranks No. 8 in the NAIA in goals against average (0.520). On Oct. 4, Parker recorded her fifth shutout on the season to pull to within one clean sheet of tying the school record.
• Mandi Achten (Rocky Mountain): Leads the team in scoring with five goals and three assists. Twenty-one shots of her team leading 41 attempts have landed on goal.
• Leah Hippauf (Rocky Mountain): She has tallied five goals on the season. She has landed 18-of-34 shots on goal, both are the second most on the team.
• Lia Unterholzner (Rocky Mountain): She has recorded four shutouts, which ranks her third in the CCC. Her 55 saves (4.58 per game) ranks her fifth in the CCC.

• Campbellsville (Ky.) is the only unbeaten team. The Tigers are 14-0-0 overall and 5-0 in the Mid-South Conference.
• No. 14 Olivet Nararene Head Coach Bill Bahr is nearing the 250-win plateau. Bahr has 247 career wins. The next game for the Tigers is on Saturday against Calumet College of St. Joseph.
• Marc Gordon, head coach for Ottawa (Kan.), is closing in on 200 career wins. Gordon led the
Saturday against St. Mary (Kan.).
• Home teams are 5-0-1 in NAIA Games of the Week. The first game was canceled at the half due to rain.
