WPC Names Kelsey Quinn as Head Track & Field/Cross Country Coach
PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific College has announced that
Kelsey Quinn will be the next head coach of the Knight Track & Field and Cross Country Programs.
Quinn arrives from Des Moines, Iowa where she has been an assistant coach at Grand View University, working primarily with sprinters and middle distance runners. Two of her athletes set new program records under her watch, and 13 Grand View athletes qualified for the NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
An accomplished athlete herself, Quinn was a standout sprinter and hurdler at the University of Iowa. During her time competing for the Hawkeyes she qualified for the NCAA National Championships in the 400m hurdles and 1600 meter relay, putting her name into the career top-ten list at Iowa in those events. Quinn was also named Academic All-Big Ten for three seasons.
Prior to her time at Grand View, she worked with the women's volleyball and soccer teams at Iowa State University with strength and conditioning programs.
Kelsey received her bachelor's degree from University of Iowa, and has a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Iowa State University.

Kelsey began her coaching and recruiting duties on October 1st.
